Use of a Creative Zen MP3 player on a flight?

Natasha R asked:

I have a Creative Zen Vision:M MP3 player and on Saturday will be on a long haul flight. I would like to be able to use it, but am a little concerned about the fact it has a built in radio feature.
Does anyone know if the radio is constantly on, or is it only when you access it from the menu? I really don’t want to risk interfering with the plane’s equipment for the sake of listening to some tunes!
On some websites like Amazon it says things like the screen is of a good size for watchin video clips on trains or planes so I feel slightly more encouraged, but I would really like to know for sure about how the radio works.

It shouldn’t be a problem, but check with your airline to be 100% sure (this information should be on their website)

Dont worry, it would be a waste of energy if it had the radio feature on all the time. Besides, my sis has that player too and she has taken them on plane trips and there hasnt been a problem.

    There wont be a problem.
