If it’s a lively seaside you want, then look no further than the effervescent Brighton! The nightlife here is exceptional and there is always something to do, especially if you are of an artistic disposition. Designer shops and workshops are at every turn ensuring your trendy new purchase is a one-off original.

What about Bognor Regis with its tantalising history of smuggling. Back in the eighteenth century, the town was not as romantic as you would expect witha certain roguery and lawlessness about every street corner and inn. Holidaymakers were encouraged to visit Bognor following the visit of King George V in 1929 and have been doing so ever since.

Bang in the middle of some glorious countryside is the seaside spot of Littlehampton while a little way along is the more generously proportioned Worthing. These are perfect destinations to use as a base for touring too. You can’t beat zipping about the roads in your nippy hire car. It is the only way to go!
