The best way to travel in Prague?
Enjoying Prague on foot is very easy. If you need to travel a bit further than you can comfortably manage, the city centre is best navigated with the help of the public transport system. Hiring a car for the purpose of sightseeing in the heart of the city can only result in headaches and stress. What kind of holiday would that be? Hiring a car from Prague Airport will be excellent when travelling outside of the city centre. When visiting the Stare Mesto for the day, leave it safely behind at the hotel’s car park! You won’t need it, as the public transport system is superb. Take your pick between the Metro, bus or tram but when travelling the city centre, the green line on the Metro is probably the most convenient.
We hear constant reports of taxis overcharging so if you require one, you would be well advised to book in advance or better still use the Metro! The tram is fun also!
