Free or cheap holidays?
paof2 asked:
I know this may seem like a strange question, but does anyone have suggestions about cheap or free holidays at the start of September this year?
Its for an adult m/f couple.
Somebody suggested ‘house sitting’, but where could I find out details on that?
Thanks for the answers, but it was house sitting, not house swapping.
Elfy, thanks for the offer, but I think we’d have to take it in turns to breathe…LOL.
As for camping, it’s a regular thing we do, and it looks as though we’ll be off to Wales again (unless I can persuade the better half to go back to Ringwood.

Collect the vouchers from the sun very basic holidays but a holiday all the same
Yes there are house swap agencies where you swap house with someone (and car too if you like) and save on hotel bills. As for a free holiday, why not just stay at home and explore your local area. I bet there’s places you don’t visit because you think they’re too touristy. Be a tourist in your own neighbourhood and you could surprise yourself with what you find. You could book a very cheap BB in Blackpool but you’d need spending money for food and nights out etc. Perhaps just save up and go somewhere nicer next year.
HI YA.
why not stay with family or friends.
if my place wasnt so small you could of come and stay at ours. lol.
but you know where i live and who in the right mind would want to come here for a holiday.
well you did live here for a bit.
good luck with the holiday.

Do what we do, we rigged ourselves out with a tent and all the gear at a cost of less than £100 and we go camping, we find secluded places and simply pitch the tent, build a campfire, do some fishing, collect pebbles and simply have fun ! If you do this, apart from fuel, it costs no more than being at home. Take heed of the countryside code and you won’t be bothered by anyone.
Live a little, be adventurous and do it.
Just get in touch with like2stay.co.uk they help people on low incomes and single parents etc. As well as being a holiday guide for uk holiday parks.
