Ideas of where to visit in the UK, Ireland, and surrounding areas?

Athlete♥ asked:

When I’m a bit older, I plan on going to Europe (I currently live in the U.S.). Any ideas of good areas to visit in this area? I’d like to see Ireland, England, France, and Spain so if you have any suggestions…

Ireland…Connemara in the west, also Kerry in the south west
And many more beautiful places there..I’d avoid most of the cities though…

Spain…so many places…in the north Galicia and Asturias
On the Atlantic side Cadiz (oldest city in Europe) + surrounding area
Cities would include Seville, Granada and Cordoba (too many more places to mention)

France…definitely the Loire valley, Carcassonne in the south (mediterranean side)..also Aix en Provence…and again many more places

The UK…can’t help out there…am sure someone else will

Best to wikipedia or google some of the places I have mentioned

A friend who has been to Ireland says Dublin is a very nice city. My parents loved Madrid, Spain. I enjoyed London; the Tower of London is wonderful. Also in England, I would suggest Nottingham, and if you can get that far north, go to Edinburgh. In France, I would suggest Mont Saint Michel, the Pope’s Palace in Avignon, the Hotel des Eglises in Paris.
