A taxi driver might drive you to your hotel the ‘scenic route’ in order to obtain more fare money or you may fall prey to the old faithful scams of all, the timeshare ordeal!

How to make this problem go away? There are ways to avoid being scammed – use your common sense. For example, do not let your credit card out of your sight when paying for a meal etc. Wherever possible, organise excursions, taxis etc through your hotel.
