The train was detoured from Wyoming because of avalanches. That was why I was on the train instead of driving. I had heard of the avalanches. My 3 children and I spend a great deal of time on the platform at the back of the train. I heard we were going through Glacier National Park. SPECTACULAR.!!!! Long time ago, 1971, but I remember.
