New York Holiday Rentals?

Libby asked:

Does anyone have any advice on New York Holiday Rentals? Any Good websites? I’m based in the UK and I’m also wondering how long holiday rentals can be booked for. I know UK nationals can only stay in the states for 90 days without a visa so I can’t stay longer than that anyway. It is possible to get a holiday rental for 2 – 3 months though?

try they do long term lets over 1 month.

I haven’t used them but will consider this on my next visit. If you haven’t been before NY is fantastic! This map may help finding where the accommodation is really located -.

We stayed near Times Square on W46 St which was great for sight seeing. If in this area try Pigalle on 48th/8th Ave (Next to the Hilton) – really nice cafe, great food.

    Hey!

Yes, you could easily do a sublet in Manhattan and have your very own apartment for a good deal less tan what you would pay to live in a hotel and you’d have you own apartment! You could also rent a long term housing hotel room, which is usually a god deal less than staying in a regular hotel.

I’ve sublet out my apartment many times while I’ve gone out of town. It makes me money and saves the person who sublets it a lot as well.

There is a site which talks a bit about subletting and getting long term housing hotel rooms. You may want to check it out.

    Good luck!
