Go and enjoy Turkey, try to go and see some of the sights, dont get burn’t on the first day, today it will be 30c or more, use good sunscreen, but most of all, have a ball !!
Though officially it remains a suburb of Bodrum, Gumbet has grown to become a resort in its own right, with its own special character, temperament and appeal. Some of the most popular hotels of the region are to be found in and around Gumbet Bay.
The long sandy beach is undoubtedly a great attraction, but it’s the combination of the sea, sun, sand and fun that makes Gumbet so popular.
l was there last year and its in Bodrum and believe me so nice place , it has so nice historical beauty and its natural things.. also the nightlife is great there.. lots of pubs ( orange bar , Halikarnas ( the biggest one ) and there you will see smiling and kind people to you.. Have a nice days..
Gumbet is great, went there with my boyf last year, we stayed in the Queens Resort appratments and it was lovely. Take advantage of the excursions but I’d give Pummakkale a miss, takes 8 hours to get there from Gumbet. The mudbaths at Dalyan are great fun, we loved it! You will get hasselled to go into shops/restuarants etc but stand firm when u say no, just be polite and carry on walking past. We are going to Turkey this Sunday too, a different resort this time though!
You will have no problems in Gumbert it is a British colony hope you like to get drunk ,eat English food and have your eardrums assualted – next time try Turkey.
love on the beach, a very good activity for a couple !
